The Bible-4-Life series are for ages K-5th grade and may be used within a traditional class environment or within a rotation-type program. Each hands-on Bible lesson is accompanied with a craft, game, Scripture memorization and song time suggestions. Many include enrichment ideas to further enhance your program. They're great for midweek classes too! And to help your budget, one book is all you need for an entire class!

2) Water Theme VBS
Standard Publishing has done all of this for you. Their VBS kit is called "Take the Plunge" and has a water park theme. To save money you can purchase the starter kit (for ideas) or buy the individual pieces (game book, snack book, etc.).
I will be teaching 14 years old boys and girls on the topic "Prepare the Way of the Lord". Besides sparking their interest in a biblical exploration of the life and mission of Jesus, there will be discussions on the meaning of Jesus' baptism and Jesus' temptations. Would greatly appreciate some suggestions on what activity to conduct to include all 35 participants. Can someone please help? Thank you.

You might also check out Acteens, through the WMU (wmu.com). We have started Girls in Action and are really liking it. It has badges, etc. and is missions focused. I am not sure if Acteens uses badges, but I would bet they do. Leslie

8) Teaching Missions
Leah, I have a whole mission theme that I used for a summer theme that was good. I can email the theme to you if you want to write to my email @ jmcintom@aol.com. I can attach all items. It is far too much to give another way. Jeanne
