The Body Parts Ice Breaker Game

Body of Christ

Many ministries will soon begin, or have already begun, Fall sessions and new children will be welcomed into our programs. Icebreaker games are a fun way to help children meet one another and ease them into their new classrooms. One such game is The Body Parts game. Not only is it fun, it is also a great way to begin talking about the importance of each child in the Body of Christ, young and old, big and small, everyone is valued and has an important job to do! If you use today's icebreaker game, I'd love to hear from you! Read on:

Bible Point
The Body of Christ is many parts. Only when the parts come together do they form one body to accomplish one purpose!

Set Up
Before class begins, write body part names on stick-it-notes. You most likely won't know how many kids will show up to class. Therefore, divide the body part names from major to minor (see link, below), and then distribute them accordingly as children arrive to class.

Get the directions to play.
