Can you think of any holidays that are more important to Christians than Christmas and Easter? Probably not; yet, as important and meaningful as these two holidays are, God did not mandate them for his people to celebrate. Only in the Older Testament, the Hebrew Scriptures, do we find seven, "Holy Day" feasts. These festivals were established and set apart by God for his people to observe a time of worship and rest.
Why is it important for children to study the feasts today?
The Hebrew word for feasts means "appointed times." God has chosen them for a holy purpose. Therefore, carefully studying the feasts will help children understand God's love, purpose and plan for their lives and how these feasts point us toward Jesus!.
A great teaching resource for Easter, Passover, Pentecost,
Fall celebrations, or year round study!
Book includes: 14, one-hour sessions, 15 Crafts (7 Crafts and 8 Yummy Food Devotions), 8 Bible Games, 3 Skits, Enrichment Ideas, Song-time suggestions,
T-Shirt design and name tags. For K-5th grade.

REVIEW
"I liked how the author tied the Old Testament feasts to the New Testament. The subtitle is very appropriate - "They Show Us Jesus."
I had never thought about how the Old Testament feasts can teach us about Jesus until I saw
this book online. Fascinating! The book describes a wide variety of activities. For each of the seven feasts it has a lesson, plus great ideas for games, skits, crafts, snacks, memory verses, songs, and so on."
