What's Your Sign?

Have you ever been asked, "What's your sign?" and you didn't quite know what to say? Oftentimes I have responded, "The dove, it's a symbol of the Holy Spirit, he is the One guiding my life."

Recently, a longtime subscriber and contributor to the site, Emmalea Butler, purchased, "The Signs of the Times, Bible Lesson Plans" for an after-school Bible club called, "The Great Adventure Club." It is held in a public school too! How awesome is that? She wrote in to tell me that the program was a success, and that they printed t-Shirts with traffic signs on them, so the kids could use the shirts as a witnessing tool! (I love that idea!) She also had a Sheriff's Deputy come speak to the children at the end of the five week program! He first told stories of what happens to people when they don't obey traffic signs--there are fines to pay and wrecks that cause deaths. Then he used the traffic signs to tell his testimony of coming to know JESUS Christ as his personal Savior: He had to STOP and realize he needed to make a U-Turn with his life, or he would face a DEAD END.

Emmalea said, "Over 50 parents came to see the closing program. And over a dozen kids raised their hands to ask JESUS to save them. This was not planned. I was telling them about getting saved at a skating rink when I was ten years old. In my story, I said the man leading the message asked, 'How many of you would like to ask JESUS to be your Savior?' And over a dozen hands shot up as the kids listened to my story!" (I love how God uses Emmalea in public schools to teach children about Jesus!)

Now, when you purchase Signs of the Times, you will also receive a "What's Your Sign?" t-Shirt design. It's a great way to start a conversation about your faith! And when someone asks you, "What's your sign?" You can say, "A STOP sign. I was heading for a DEAD END. So I YIELDED my life to God and made a U-TURN to Jesus; he is the ONE WAY to heaven."

The design is black and white so it can be printed on any color of t-shirt. You'll find it listed in the patterns section at the back of the digital book ( PDF format).
